Netscape Safari Firefox but not Internet Explorer

Can some please explain to me why I am able to run Rover to view my spot on Netscape -Safari- Firefox -but not Internet Explorer?
I have loaded up my spot onto my web page and i can view it on all but
Internet Explorer does this have something to do with the plugin?
if someone could point me in the right direction it would be of a great help Thanks
